I've finished my jewelry project and started a new one. This one's going to be a beauty with two types of amber, real silver bits and a lovely art bead that was made for the amber. I need to post some of my jewelry projects...
I blotted Tyr and it was good. I tend to get easily out of touch with Tyr so that was very balancing, much more so than when I honor a God with whom I have more in common.
Did okay on my test I think. Guess I'll find out Wednesday.
Found a new Freya stature in the Design Toscano catalog. Okay, honest opinion? Not to my taste. She looks too languid. I expect her to put the sword away and open a box of bonbons.
Still, someone may like this statue more than I do, so there ya go.

But it's all good. I'm reworking a jewelry project, and I'm currently drunk with the textures and colors of the beads I'm working with. Pearls, amber, swarovski crystals, Precious Metal Clay, it's all lovely and fine.
Color and hue and light murmur and sigh to me. I can be glamoured in a bead store or a fabric store or while looking at paints. I want to learn what every shade of blue and bronze and green and red and the fine shimmer of gold and sparkle and the dance of light secretly mean, and I'll only learn as I work with them.
But it has to be put aside for a bit, while I work on my homework. I owe Tyr a blot too, so I'll shake the whirring ribbons out of my head and settle down, and think calmly for a bit, and set pencil to plain paper and drink to perhaps the most straight-forward and level-headed of all the Aesir.
